How to Sign up for Chitika Publishers Program

If your blog or website have quality content and good search traffic, then monetize it by using Chitika ads. Chitika is an online advertising network that allows publishers to earn revenue by displaying ads on your website, blog, app or mobile set, with content from Chitika's network of advertisers.

You can use Chitika ads with Google AdSense  in the same website, or blog because Chitika Ads are non-contextual and do not look like AdSense units.Chitika ads are non-intrusive.

Chitika pays every month on the previous month's earning and payments are sent after your account earn at least $10 (USD) for Paypal payouts or $50(USD) for checks.

Steps of Getting Started with Chitika

1. Open Chitika site, which is Chitika Publishers Website
2. Click Get Started
3. Fill in the Publisher Program Application Form that appears on the screen.
• First name
• Last Name(or Company Name)
• Username
• Password
• Website
• Email
• Captcha:  Type in the captcha that will will shown. this is used to keep off robots applications. If you cannot  see the captcha properly click to generate another captcha.
4. Tick the check box  'I would like to receive periodic new updates from Chitika', though this is optional
5. Tick the check box  'I accept Chitika's Terms & Conditions.
6. Click  Submit Application tab. If your application form have some errors, you will notified and then after correcting, you can submit it again
7. Once you click Submit Application, you will receive a "Confirm Your Application"mail through the email address you specified.
8. Open the mail. In order to verify that you sent the application, verify your email address by clicking on the link that will be shown below.  This process helps Chitika  to ensure that other people are not submitting applications on your behalf without your authorization.This should take you directly to a page to complete your application.  If it does not, copy and paste the full URL into your web browser's address box and hit the "Enter" key on your keyboard. Once you confirm your email, Chitika team will manually review your application to ensure the highest quality service for both you and their advertisers.
9. Fill in the following information in the Verify Application form that appears on the screen.
• Street 1
• Street 2
• City
• State
• Postal address information
• Country
10.  Click Verify Application Tab once you are through. The information is used to expedite the approval process. It is also used by Chitika when they are sending your payment checks.
11. Once you click Verify Application, your application will be submitted to Chitika for review and a confirmation link will be emailed to you. If you don't receive the confirmation within 1 hour, you can contact Customer Support. To ensure delivery, you should add "support@chitika.com" to your address book
12. In my case, within one day, Chitika had already approved my application. Your application may take up to 7 business day (Monday - Friday) to be reviewed.
13. Chitika also gives you a chance to tell your friends through email, twitter or Facebook about their referral program, which enables you to earn 10% of your friend's revenue for 15 months as long as they remain in the program.
14. You can now log in to your Chitika account by using the username and the password that you specified.The site is Chitika Publishers
15. Remember that you will not be able to see the Chitika ads in you blog or website until you put your Chitika code in your blog.
